Gather around the benches and embrace the beauty of Australian insects as you join us to create a unique Christmas beetle sculpture. We've brought some holiday cheer to our previous beetle design from the Insect Pinning DPS Social to craft an all new festive experience for you to enjoy.

Under the guidance of Dead Puppet Society’s artisans at our Fabrication Workshop, you will choose elements of your beetle and then observe the material cut out on the laser cutter, seeing first-hand how laser-cutting technologies are used to build the puppets and props for stage productions. You will then assemble your beetle friend inside a glass dome. Gain an insight into the basic principles of puppet design, and how to bring your beetle to life.
